Airlines Global Next recommends Group Travel Specialists as an airline ticketing option. Once an individual or group registers for a Global Next Leadership Conference, the individual or group leader is encouraged to contact Connie Tompkins as soon as possible at: 1-866-439-9457 or email her at: connie@atrmissions.com. Ms. Tompkins will help arrange the flight for you or your group from the city of your choice to the destination of your conference. Generally once you arrange your flight, you or your group will have 3-5 days to pay for your tickets. Early booking may mean better airfare prices. This method also ensures that you get the best price from your location no extra charges or hidden commissions for Global Next. Global Next does not make money on your ticket purchase and is not responsible for arranging student transportation to conference locations. Global Next will not be responsible for scheduling changes, overbooking, missed connecting flights, long layovers or any expenses related to such delays. (For these reasons, we suggest that you consider purchasing trip cancellation/interruption insurance.) Please note that in the very unlikely event of losing an airline ticket while traveling, the traveler will be responsible for all costs associated with getting a new one. ***IMPORTANT: Individuals may buy their own airline ticket, use air miles, or use travel agents other than Group Travel Specialists. When doing so, please check with Global Next first to verify the arrival window for the rest of the conference participants. Transportation from the airport to the hotel is arranged based on the arrival time of those who book with Group Travel Specialists. If travelers choose to forgo this window, then the traveler will be responsible for obtaining their own transportation to and from the hotel or airport. Hotels
Every Global Next traveler must be in possession of the appropriate travel documents prior to departure. For all international trips, a valid passport is required. This is solely the responsibility of the participant. Please allow AT LEAST 3-4 months to obtain a passport under normal conditions. If a participant is unable to obtain the required travel documents Global Next's standard cancellation policy will apply. If you have a passport already, please note that many countries require that a passport MUST be valid 6 months after the dates of your trip. For visas, check the U.S. Department of State at travel.state.gov for information. If you are not a US citizen, you must contact your embassy for rules and procedures especially concerning required visas for foreign travel. Please note that in the very unlikely event of losing a passport while traveling, the traveler will be responsible for all costs associated with getting a new one. |
