will be waiting for you on the other side of customs and immigration!
After checking into our Rome hotel, we'll head out for a wonderful day
of exploring Rome. First on our list are the Spanish Steps, the famous hangout place of Roman young people! Then it's on to the Trevi Fountain where
you'll want to be sure to throw in a coin to assure your return to the
Eternal City of Rome! In the evening we'll have dinner together and a
brief time of orientation.
Day 3 (Saturday)
This morning, our leadership course, "Who Let the Dogs Out?" begins.
We'll study personalities and seek to understand others as never
before! After class, we'll head out to the 2000 year old Coliseum, the Arch of Constantine, the Arch of Titus, and the ancient Roman Forum. We will also visit the Mammertine Prison the traditional site of St. Paul's imprisonment while in Rome.
Day 4 (Sunday)
Our leadership course will continue this morning and then we'll spend the afternoon at the Pantheon,
an iconic temple that has now become a church. In the late afternoon we
will spend more time enjoying the artists and street performers at the Piazza Navona.
Day 5 (Monday)
After our leadership classes, we will visit the Roman Catacombs.
The catacombs are the ancient underground cemeteries, used by the
Christian and Jewish communities. The Christian catacombs, which are
the most numerous, began in the 2nd century. At first these were just
burial places, then they became places for Christian gatherings for
celebrations as well as for refuge against persecution.
Day 6 (Tuesday)
Today we travel to the Vatican City and visit St. Peter's Basilica. A highlight of our day will be going through the Vatican Museum and seeing the Sistine Chapel, home of Michelangelo's Last Judgment and
other masterful works. Here we will also study Catholicism and its
impact on Christianity. Our day will end with time for shopping on via del Corso, dinner and a recap at hotel.
Day 7 (Wednesday)
Homeward bound!
Leadership Training: "Who Let the Dogs Out?" Your
ability to lead others will only be as good as your ability to read and
understand people. This course will help you identify yourself as a Pit
Bull, Beagle, Golden Retriever or Dalmatian. More importantly we will
spend time developing your skills of profiling and reading other
breeds. You'll learn how to recognize the different breeds out there
and adjust your interaction style to increase your effectiveness as a
people influencer!
